Q. How many spots are available at the Dream(R) Retreat: GoalFriends Edition?

 

A. There are only 8 spots available to make for an intimate fun-filled weekend. Grab your bestie and secure your spot today! 

 

Q. Will each participant have their own sleeping accommodations?

 

A. Yes! You and your bestie will share a luxurious bedroom (some have in-suite bathrooms attached) with linen and towels provided. There's also an on-site washer and dryer available.

 

Q. Can I bring a friend if she's willing to share a room with me and my bestie?

A. Absolutely! If you're more of a trio and you need your 3rd leg, sure! Make sure she's comfortable sharing your 2 person dream suite (we have some additional accommodations that will make her comfy). She will still need to register but be sure to email us (info@8storysocial.com) to let us know ahead of time. 

 

Q. Are there any transportation options available?

 

A. Unfortunately no.You will need to coordinate a ride to our Northern Michigan getaway with your Goalfriend.

Q. Do I have to do a presentation for the #GoalTalks Session?

 

A. Absolutely! These aren't your ordinary presentations (you can present in your pj's if you want). You and your bestie will coordinate a brief (10min max) presentation on the topic of your choice. Topics may include: careers, entrepreneurship, health, beauty, fashion, mommyhood, coping with grief, sexuality, travel, lifestyle, etc. It'll be your regular, degular, schemgular, girl talk with an informal audience. 

 

Q. Why isn't the Day Out/Lunch Out Activities included in the price?

 

A. We have worked hard to make this Retreat affordable and inclusive of meals with a Private Chef, bottomless drinks and activities in house...our day out/lunch out activities will be a group decided option which may vary in price.

 

Q. What does the Day Out Activity consist of?

 

A. There are so many options in beautiful Saugatuck. Horseback riding, kayaking, wineries, dune rides, just to name a few. We'll choose something fun to do!

Q. I attended the 2017 Retreat and the price was cheaper, why is there a price inflation?

​

A. While we hoped you absolutely enjoyed our first retreat, the inflation has incurred because this will be bigger and better. We've hired a real life private chef  who is going to cook, clean and serve all of our meals. True opulence! 

 

Q. Can I pay the $449 in installments?

 

A. Absolutely! There is a $100 deposit due by Jan 21st to secure your spot and then the balance is due by June 21st. After you pay your deposit then you can feel free to make low-cost monthly (Feb-June) payments of $69.80 to pay your balance.

Q. What time will the retreat take place?

 

A. Friday evening activities begin late to include time for travel and Sunday morning activities are over right after breakfast and debrief.

 

Q. What if I have to leave early, can I pay for just 1 day?

 

A. Unfortunately no, this Retreat encompasses Relaxation, Relationship and Releasing. The journey of each of those occur over the entire duration. If you can't make the entire thing, don't worry this won't be the last one!!

 

Q. Do I need to bring anything? Is there a dress attire?
