How Punching the Bag Has Helped Me Succeed 🐝

DreamBuild

"One of my greatest challenges in life has been fitness"

Being fit, being healthy, being successful...Just let me be great. 😱 It's a lot to take in but the reward is so magnificent that the power struggle is consistently worth it. I have literally tried every diet, every fitness bootcamp, every spin class and I even regularly bike ride to make sure I stay active. I have changed my diet to accommodate my fitness goals and ultimately developed a lifestyle of striving for optimal fitness. I want this bad. It's one of my passions because I want to leave a legacy for my future family that your health should be valued just as much as anything else.

When kickboxing was presented to me as something new to try, I figured why not! I'm going on this fabulous slaycation in a few months and I could d0 30 minutes of kickboxing 3-4 times a week(a good week). I find it fun, always different and super effective. I get to conquer 9 rounds of various workouts on a hiit interval in just 30 minutes (sign me up). I've found that punching the bag is a great stress reliever and also a good skillset to perfect. What I didn't realize was the aftermath of my 9 rounds of fun.

Intrapreneurship leaves a lot on your plate. When you're working a full time dream and building a full time dream, life gets hectic. I utilize kickboxing to declutter, relax and release. I feel empowered when I'm simply hitting the bag. I want to be my best me so I push hard even when I can't stand another squat, another plank or burpee. Life is hard and I am not here for burpees...LOL..

The way that I push myself in the gym has transpired into the way I push myself in my entrepreneurial journey. When I feel like the clock is ticking or that I don't have

another post or product to push out to a client, I keep on pushin!!!!

It's like swinging at the bag. While I can see the bag straight ahead of me, I know behind the bag is the next round. I have to defeat the bag to get to the next round. I have to defeat my fears and challenges to get to my next round. It's the 9th round that provides all the reward. When you get to the 8th, the adrenaline is still pumping but you feel a calming sensation because you've made it. I get to the 8th and crush the 9th. I get to the 8th hour and go strong for the 9th within my business. As I restructure some things for the blog and business, I see how simply punching the bag works. I guess I have them hands afterall. I'm just staring at this dream life I'm living and seeing every round before that being demolished.
