Do you ever find yourself feeling like BLAH!!!! Unfocused, tired, and just not on top of your A game...it's inevitable. We're never gonna be at 100 all the time. Auto pilot comes and goes people but there are always ways to pull yourself up. Here are 3 ways to stay motivated and stay on!
1. Me Time. The first thing I do when I feel like life is just moving way too fast is reevaluate the last time I've poured into myself. If you're feeling overwhelmed or empty, take some ME time. You can schedule a pamper day or a staycation and relax day to get refueled. I'm all about taking a day off work or a free weekend day, curling up with a glass of wine, my favorite book and just doing nothing. Those are the moments when I get to turn off from the busy world and hear my own thoughts. My Me time refuels and ignites me because it allows me to see the bigger picture from various angles. Take some ME time and do something nice for yourself. Dinner, drinks, gifts...those things never fail.
2. Professional Development. Whenever I'm feeling uninspired or blah with life, work or business, I dedicate intentional time to professional development. I am already super plugged with my podcasts, Bizscopes, Twitter chats and Facebook groups because I absolutely adore my pd time. It is truly one of the best ways to stay motivated and connected. Sometimes we need that extra push, support or round of applause from other boss chicks who are on a similar path. It's easy to lose focus when you're sitting alone. Don't let your journey be a lonely one. Take some time to research and discover. I tend to spark my greatest ideas from diving into PD. Just this past week, I've figured out a better resource to use for my email list. I'm such a student that I live for this stuff and I promise it keeps me on.
3. Automation. Sometimes you just don't have TIME. Life is so busy and the balancing act is so real. There are so many responsibilities and people depending on us that it's as simple as "I just haven't had time". AUTOMATION has truly been a lifesaver. A great way to stay motivated and to stay on with your dream. Using tools like Buffer or Hootsuite allow you to schedule out your digital content. This saves time for you to actually work on future content or projects. Whenever I feel overwhelmed its a joy to know that I'm not abandoning my content calendar or my readers. Try working on projects or assignments in advance. Try cleaning your home prior to your weekend clean. Try meal prepping for the week, ironing all your clothes at once, scheduling daily workouts, etc. There are so many ways to automate your life and to plan ahead to make your daily activities stress free and easy. I honestly don't know where I'd be without systems. (Nerd Moment)
So if you're ever in need of tips to stay on, stay winning and stay doing, be sure to consider these 3 things. Make time for yourself, make time to learn from others and make time to do things in advance. I hope this helps. Stay on Queens. Stay on.
